THE FESTIVAL OF SAMHAIN

Roy Howard, ©1991, Cantos Para Todos

Tomorrow is the start of a brand new year.
Today the summer ends, what music to my ear.
Bring the cattle in, the sheep, the goat, the steer.
Tomorrow is the start of a brand new year.

Prepare the gala feast for visitors to come.
Ring the bells and harps, let the lutists strum.
From the highest hills, the ancient music sung.
Prepare the gala feast for visitors will come.

Bring in the corn stalks, pumpkins and bright fall leaves.
Build the fire large a brand for each to sieze.
Wear a mask and skins, your friends for to tease.
Bring in the cornstalks, pumpkins and the bright fall leaves.
