Al Romero, Gallup, New Mexico Cantante Primera, Guitarrista

Al Romero is the leader of the Flashback Band. He began playing professionally in his father's band in Gallup, New Mexico since1969. He plays all the lead guitar parts in the Flashback Band. He has led a number of other bands throughout the years, including: Al Romero (Sr.) Band, Al Romero (Sr.) Conjunto, The Blue Persuasion Band, Suavecito Band, Al Romero Band, Flashback Band. His children are Alisha Alonzo Romero and Fabian Romero. His wife is Susie Márquez Romero. Born in Gallup, he is a 1976 graduate of Cathedral High School. He has been a Service Technician for PNM since 1977. His father is from Arizona, his mother from Gallup, and his grandparents from Chihuahua. Featured in the DVD New Mexico Music in Gallup
