My great-grandfather's name was "Antonin Dvorak", but
he is not the composer. It is a common name in the Czech Republic
during his lifetime.

I have performed on the violin with groups in every state
that I have lived in. (Too many to remember).
I started with public school orchestra, then graduated to a competitive
city-wide orchestra (Youth Symphony). That led to the State-wide
honor orchestra. I have played with two amateur opera orchestras
and one professional opera orchestra (this one in North Carolina).
I have played several concerts with the Lincoln Symphony which
is a professional orchestra. At the college level, I played
with the Univ. of Nebr. orchestra and East Carolina Univ. orchestra.
At the community level, I played with the Georgetown Symphony
in Washington DC.
The most recent performances have been solo first violin in the
Gallup Community Theater's performance of "Fiddler on the
Roof" about 7 years ago. I am playing with "Gallup
'N Dance" and Member of the Red Rock String Ensemble since
1995.
