Married Peter A. Shaw, 5 children, 4 grandchildren
Began playing piano and percussion instruments in grade school
and continued through college. Has performed with concert bands,
orchestras, marching bands and jazz bands, has accompanied numerous
school choirs, community choir groups, and vocal and instrumental
soloists. Has been the pianist for many theatrical productions
for school and community theater groups in Arizona, California,
and New Mexico. Majored in music at Eastern Arizona College,
received bachelor's degree in education from University of New
Mexico. Teaches kindergarten at Red Rock Elementary school.
Has given private piano lessons for over 25 years. Member of
the Red Rock String Ensemble since 2002.
