Camelthorn

...reproduces by seed borne in reddish brown, joined seed pods and by extensive, deep-penetrating, horizontally spreading root system.

Weeds and their seeds hide in hay that is hauled to a new place on trucks for feed. Noxious weed seeds hide along the sides of buildings, sidewalks and roads. When these hidden seeds get warm and wet they grow in these new places. These new plants make more seeds to spread to other places. Camelthorn plants are strong enough to break up roads and buildings as the roots grow.
